Chapin Big Country Days Chapin Big Country days will once again fill the streets of downtown with food, music and other events the second weekend in August. All music is family friendly and free, so bring a chair, an appetite and the entire family, for fun Friday night, and starting at noon on Saturday till well past dark! NO BOIL ORDER!!!!
The Village of Chapin is not under a boil order! The Village of Chapin water system, and its customers, are not affected by the recent disaster that has struck the City of Jacksonville and water customers of the City. While the Village of Chapin does purchase raw water from the city's large transmission line, it is then treated in the VIllage's water treatment plant. The water for Chapin residents, Concord residents, and all their customers is safe for all activities.
