The Chapin Village Council will attempt to put minutes from the previous meeting up in a timely manner. For complete Village news, you are invited to attend all Village Council meetings. However if you are unable to attend, minutes can be found by following the link below.
Location: Village Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Chapin Village Hall. The Village Hall is located at 510 Everett Street in Chapin.
Members: The Chapin Village Council is comprised of 6 Trustees, a Village President and a Village Clerk.
Elections:
Village trustees are elected by popular vote for 4 year terms. Every two years 3 trustee seats are open for election. The Village President and Clerk are elected for 4 year terms.
Current Members: Trustees: Rex Brockhouse, OPEN POSITION, Casey Hummer, Ken Drake, Robert Lutrell, and Lauren Hamilton. Village President Bryce McCormick. Village Clerk OPEN.
Committees: Current Village Committees include the personnel, public safety, cemetery, parks and recreation, and streets and roads.
